Project Challenge
Lumenis is a global leader in the field of minimally-invasive clinical solutions for the Ophthalmology and Aesthetic markets.
The company sells its products in over 100 countries, and R&D is located in 3 places. The company’s data is managed in 3 main operational systems: SAP ERP, Salesforce and 3DEXPERIENCE ENOVIA and 2 Data platforms: SAP BW and Qlik.
Our main challenge in this project was replacing an outdated on-premise integration technology (Magic) with a new cloud iPaaS technology and migrating all existing interfaces to the new integration system.
Our Solution
The chosen platform – SAP Integration Suite , and specific CPI (Cloud Platform Integration).
The project consisted of two stages:
1. Migration of existing interfaces.
2. Addition of new interfaces.
Initially, the focus was on migrating all 15 interfaces existing with Salesforce, followed by the addition of new interfaces, including integration with the customer's database system. New interfaces were developed to address requirements not present in the old system.
