The MRC Group is one of the leading private companies in the field of energy production in Israel. The energy production market operates on low profit margins and therefore requires precision and quick reaction, which leaves a narrow margin for errors and inefficiency. Here comes into play the high importance of reliable and accurate real-time information. Every data system in the organization should be smart, efficient and with a high rate of faultless operation. MRC has set its sights on using information as a resource to address this challenge, thus attaining a distinct competitive advantage.
Our Solution
As part of its investment in prudent management and effective decision-making, MRC, with the help of iprosis, developed a system tailored to effectively and digitally determine the accurate quantities of gas required for production, by creating a consumption forecast that updates continuously. The system draws information from various systems, such as operational data, production forecasts, operation management policies, trade transactions, and more, thus “recommending” to the ordering customer exactly how much to order, thereby reducing unnecessary costs.
The application was developed on the SAP BTP platform in the SAP UI5 environment on a HANA Cloud database and reflects online information from the source systems (SAP S/4, Salesforce, GE Historian, and more).
